On Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, Lana Del Rey officially debuted her relationship with boyfriend Jeremy Dufrene, bringing him as her plus one to the wedding of model Karen Elson and Lee Foster in New York City. The new couple walked out of Electric Lady Studios hand-in-hand wearing big smiles.
Del Rey was also wearing a satin blue halter dress with white ballet flats while Dufrene wore a blue suit with a white button-up shirt and brown shoes.

Who is Jeremy Dufrene?
Dufrene operates as a captain for a tour boat company in Des Allemands, Louisiana, close to New Orleans, called Airboat Tours by Arthur. The tours focus on local wildlife and apparently the company has a good reputation. In his bio, Dufrene says he once worked at a chemical plant and enjoys shrimping.
“After a little convincing by his family, he got his captain’s license and started running tours,” it continues.
According to People, Dufrene has three children, a son and two daughters.
How did Dufrene and Del Rey meet?
Del Rey made an appearance in one of Dufrene’s social media posts in 2019 after taking a tour of his while visiting for the BUKU Music + Art Project festival. In a now private post on Instagram, Dufrene wrote, “I never know who I can run across on my tours but always a pleasure @lanadelrey.”
She also shared shots of him in Facebook posts, captioning them, “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours.”
In May 2024, Del Rey reportedly took another tour. She tagged him in the caption of a photo with friends.
How long have they been dating?
In August 2024, they were spotted at Reading & Leeds Festival and were seen in a video on TikTok holding hands. They then headed to London for a visit to Harrod’s and a local pub, according to the Daily Mail. After the images circulated, Del Rey denied she and Dufrene were dating in a comment on TikTok, simply writing “No” on a video about their alleged relationship. But it seems to now be a yes.
Are Del Rey and Dufrene getting married?
It would appear so soon! People reported on Sept. 26, 2024 that the couple obtained a marriage license from the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court on September 23. They have 30 days from that date to tie the knot.
