Machine Gun Kelly opened up to Howard Stern yesterday about how drastically his new girlfriend Megan Fox has changed his view on love. She made him believe in it, and she’s the first woman he has ever felt that way about.
“I didn’t know what [true love] was until me and her made eye contact,” he said, via E! and People. “That’s when I was like, ‘Whoa.'”
“After I made the big chunk of the album [Tickets to My Downfall] I did fall in love for the first time,” Kelly added. “That was my first experience with being open to love and stuff like that. I definitely wasn’t set up to believe that that’s something that could ever exist.”
When Stern asked if it was love at first sight, he said, “Yeah, for sure.” He also added that the media attention has been hard to deal with.

“My house isn’t gated, you know?” he said. “So that’s the one problem. Everyone knows where my house is, so it’s like this odd moment, where I was kinda living my life super normal and the next day, there were paparazzi outside my house every day.”
Fox has spoken similarly about her romance with Kelly, calling him her “twin flame,” something more than a soulmate, during an interview in July. She said she knew right away that there was something powerful between them.
“I could feel that some wild shit was going to happen to me from that meeting [where I was told Kelly was cast on our movie Midnight in the Switchgrass], but I wasn’t yet sure what,” Fox said on Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s podcast, Give Them Lala … With Randall. “I just felt it like, deep in my soul—that something was going to come from that.”
When Fox met Kelly, “I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame,” she said. “Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”
“I think it was the second day [of filming],” she continued. “I asked him to come into my trailer for lunch, and I put him through all of this astrology stuff. I went deep right away. I knew before I even did his chart, I said to him, he has a Pisces moon. I could tell by his energy.”
