One of the nice things about having a new color story to wear every year is that sometimes the color of the year is something that you already have. Many of us buy gray clothing all the time without even knowing that we are in style.
This year, gray is one of the top colors for all clothing styles. There are just so many options out there, and thankfully you will have more than a few this year.
Throw On A Gray Scarf
If you aren’t too sure about gray (and it isn’t necessarily great for everyone), consider just throwing on a simple but warm gray scarf. This will bring out the color in your eyes, depending on the color of your eyes, and have you embracing the gray trend.
Even better, a darker gray won’t show off your foundation, which has been the problem with the lighter colors of the year we’ve had recently.
A Gray Turtleneck
A good, grey turtleneck sweater will unlock your true inner fashionista. There is just something so chic and put together about this type of style, especially if you pair it with a good pair of black trousers, a fashionable skirt, or even just jeans.
Of course, you could always put some leggings under it and make it a bit more casual as well.
Gray Leggings
Black leggings are great and we all have a ton of them in our wardrobes, but what if we decided to be a little different?
Thicker gray leggings are the perfect statement piece to add some variety and depth to your outfit. Thinner ones do the same, especially if you have a darker skintone.
You can even get them in different patterns!
Go For A Whole Dress
If you want to go the whole way with the gray, then you should consider a gray dress. They are really replacing the little black dress at events and even casual gray dresses are more fashion-forward this year.
Then, you can start to accessorize however you want! Wear brighter accessories, any metal of your choice, or tone everything down with black.
If you have ever wanted to start wearing the color of the year, this is going to be the best year to do it. There are just so many options!
