With the summer out of the way and the beginning of fall we are soon to be immersed in everything orange colored and pumpkin flavored. If you are heading away this fall season you might be thinking what should you pack to take with you, with a variation in the weather always possible and quite likely to turn at any given moment you will want to pack a variety of outfits to cover you for all eventualities.
Sweaters:
When you are out and about on your vacation you will want to ensure you are warm all day long. While the days might be lovely and warm or at least pleasant you will want to protect yourself against any cooler periods, particularly in the evenings. A sweater or a cardigan is a great option, something you can carry with you or roll up and put in a bag that you can pull out at a moment’s notice and will keep you warm throughout the cooler autumnal evenings.
Jeans:
A great pair of jeans can work wonders in mixed weather, especially if you do not go for something that is super skinny. Instead go for something that is a little bit looser around the legs and you will be able to roll these up into a cropped jean if the weather proves to be a little warmer. The great thing about this rather than just wearing cropped jeans is if it starts to get a little cooler you will be able to roll your jeans back down into a full length jeans and will help to keep your warm.
Camisole tops:
Camisole tops are perfect all weather wear as they are great in the summer months and in warmer weather but also work great as a light top under a sweater or cardigan. For a fall vacation you might want to throw in some camisole tops as you can wear them in the warmer weather however if the weather declines or is cooler than expected you can just add an extra layer on top.
Ankle Boots:
If the weather seems as though it is going to be a little cooler and a pair of light shoes just will not do it, then you might want to pack a pair of ankle boots. Ankle boots are brilliant for fall, as well as being sturdy and a great option if you are going to be on your feet all day. If the weather is warmer but not quite up to summer standards then a good pair of espadrilles or canvas shoes are another great option for your fall vacation.
