When looking to style a wardrobe from top to bottom it can be difficult to suit all personalities. Most items you will find in a list will be dresses, skirts and more fancy wardrobe items, but not everyone is into wearing these types of clothes. For many they prefer a casual look and do not like to wear dresses and skirts and are much more at home in jeans, trousers and casual shoes.
So without further ado, here is the style guide wish list for the the casual girl.
Jeans
Jeans are an absolute must-have wardrobe staple no matter what your style preference, but if you are of a more casual nature you might want to stock up on several pairs.
Boyfriend jeans are a comfortable option for daily wearing. Not too loose and not too tight, you will find various colors and styles and look great styled with a pair of casual shoes. Try ripped boyfriend jeans for a real casual look.
Skinny Jeans are a great option for day and evening wear. Dress down with a shirt or up with a top and blazer for a chic casual evening look. Skinny jeans work so well with a number of outfits, and look effortlessly stylish with flat sandals in the summer and both ankle boots and knee high boots in the spring, fall and winter.
If you do not mind a pop of color, stock up on some ever fashionable colored skinny jeans.
Basic tanks
A great option to team with any outfit, whether you choose a basic tank top, a racer back or another kind of basic styled top you can pretty much wear this with any outfit at any time. Whites, blacks and greys always look great and work with anything, but also infuse a pop of color if you like to be noticed.
Oversized t-shirts are another great option all year round and work either slung loosely over jeans or tucked in at the front.
Shirts
A shirt is a great casual item, which can help add a little something extra to any outfit. Plaid shirts look great with jeans and left unbuttoned over the top of a plain tank top. Wear casual shirts unbuttoned instead of a jacket or cardigan or done up as part of your main look.
Want an easy to achieve evening look without having to get a sparkly top? Why not try a blouse with jeans instead.
Comfy shoes
Try a pair of comfortable canvas shoes, espadrilles, casual trainers or even a pair of summery flip flops (if the season allows for it). All go great with jeans and will keep you comfortable too.
For an evening outfit if you prefer something flat over heals why not try some classic flats.
Minimal Accessories
If you like to accessorize remember not everything has to be sparkly and glitzy, there are plenty of understated accessories to suit your style.
String and leather bracelets are very fashionable and hint at your relaxed, laid back nature while a small pair of studs always look great in pierced ears.
