Black Friday is, of course, one of the best times of the year to shop for your holiday presents for your family and friends, as well as a few things for yourself. However, it is important to note that not all Black Friday shopping is created equally – there are some things you should be on the lookout for – here are some hints:

Luxury Bags

Bags are incredibly popular Christmas gifts, so you want to be on the lookout for deals during Black Friday shopping. Bags will range anywhere from 10% off to 75% off or even more, depending on where you shop. You want to use these deals as a way to buy higher quality bags that you wouldn’t normally be able to afford.

Since bags make a great gift for anyone, it pays to pick up a couple extra if you can.

Boots

While you probably aren’t going to be buying boots for anyone else, this is a great time to get boots for yourself for the upcoming season. Whether you need new rugged boots that will help you when you have to shovel or you want high riding boots for your daytime looks, there are plenty of deals and doorbusters on them.

Of course, you can also pick some comfortable boots to put on in the middle of your shopping.

 

Specialty Collections

This is the time of the year that many companies are teaming up with other brands and companies to collaborate on special edition items. If you are looking for collaborations between brands, Black Friday is your chance to get some of the ones that are difficult to find. Stores tend to get more stock throughout this time of the year, with Black Friday acting as the kickoff.

Always plan to be online as soon as possible to get them – even with more on the market, they go quickly.

Cold Gear

With winter in full force, now is the time to get your cold gear as well. While you won’t find the best sales on it on Black Friday, you will have more selection. After Black Friday, fewer and fewer coats, scarves, hats, and other outdoor weather gear is stocked – and you might have to settle for something less than you want.

In particular, find a great coat and the accessories that you really want – there will always be gloves left over.
