As we enter into the holiday season, it is quickly becoming apparent that there are going to more celebrations and gatherings than ever before. It can seem like we are spending so much time finding outfits for different gatherings and not really getting the chance to enjoy our holiday seasons.
Until now. We have come up with an outfit that will work at different types of events easily. You can dress it up appropriately or dress it down. You can add elements or take them away.
Step 1: Find A Dress You Like
The first thing you need to do is find a dress that you like. You don’t want to find something that is too casual or too formal. Instead, find something that is right in the middle. It could mean finding a dress that is lightweight and long, so that it functions are formal and casual with just a few changes. Or, you could choose a shorter dress with long sleeves or an interesting neckline to make it a little more formal.
No matter what, you want to keep it somewhat basic and adjustable so that it can take on different looks.
Step 2: Find Comfortable Shoes
Finding comfortable shoes is one of the hardest things to do – so once you find one pair, hold onto them. You want shoes that aren’t too tight or too lose, something that you can easily walk in, and something that is dressy enough but not too dressy.
In general, a pair of strappy heels works perfectly for almost any occasion.
Step 3: Get A Clutch
One of the worst things about changing outfits is that you have to change bags. When you have one outfit that works, you can keep the same bag. This helps to prevent forgetting anything and ensuring that you have what you need.
For example, you can keep that same lipstick in the bag so that you always have it. Make sure you have a pack of mints or gum.
One thing to do is pick a clutch that is interesting and fun – it will attract attention.
Step 4: Accessorize
Of course, you need to accessorize. This will be where you change up your outfit. Choose beautiful accessories to make your look unique. You can choose anything – tights, necklaces, statement earrings, belts, sweaters, and anything else you can think of.
How many holiday events do you have this year?
