MONTH OF March
Capricorn on the go! Keeping up with your active lifestyle could become a competitive sport this month as the Sun sprints through Pisces and your third house of communication and community until March 20. During this busy, buzzy transit, socializing should be your top priority. We understand that Sea Goats are wired for “work first, play later,” but who says you can’t combine the two?
This month, it’s all about who you know—and who you might meet. Your network IS your currency, Cap. So if you think about it that way…why wouldn’t you show up for a signature mocktail and a mini Kobe slider while rubbing elbows with industry players? (Stop the eyerolls and just GO.) When there, set your sights on your peers, not the VIPs. The entry- to mid-level gatekeepers could have more clout than a harried exec who’s just gonna pass your resume or calls along to those people anyway. Befriend and tend—and pay it forward by leveraging your own resources to help someone out now, too. The March 6 Pisces new moon is an especially favorable day for meeting a kindred spirit or pitching a pet project.
While you’re at it, how about looking up those old friends and associates you’ve fallen out of touch with? From March 5 to 28, communication planet Mercury will be retrograde, backtracking through Pisces and this zone of mixing and mingling. While Mercury retrograde doesn’t exactly count as “great news”—technology issues, communication breakdowns, travel snags, noooooo!—it CAN be a perfect time to reconnect with your past. If old contacts emerge from the woodwork, see what opportunities might be there. Proactively set up a lunch, drinks or coffee with someone you haven’t seen in a while.
A writing or media project that you back-burnered could get a second wind. But you’ll probably still find yourself navigating the obstacles that Mercury retrograde can create with crashing devices, data drama and misunderstandings. Back up everything to be safe. Your relationship with a friend or sibling could get complicated, and you may need to hash out some differences. Use the retrograde to slow down and really listen to each other without interrupting or letting defensiveness take over. At worst, you might agree to disagree, but at least you can clear some of the tension from the air.
The headline news this month arrives on March 6, astride the Pisces new moon. Radical changemaker Uranus will end an eight-year run through Aries, where it’s been shaking up your fourth house of home, family and foundations since March 2011. Settling into a groove has had its share of interruptions, and you may have moved or changed up your lifestyle several times. Your relationship with your mother, a child or a female relative could have been through ups and downs.
Now Uranus will depart from Aries, not to return again until next century. For the next seven years, Uranus will march through Taurus and your fifth house of passion, self-expression and creativity. Your love life could become quite the adventure—and that will get off to a rip-roaring start since lusty Mars is also in Taurus until March 31. Note: The fifth house rules fertility, so Caps of the child-bearing set, consider yourself notified!
Ready for your spotlight moment? Your artistic or theatrical side could come out full force AND attract a wave of attention. Will you use your fame for greater good? Humanitarian Uranus sparks up your social justice warrior. You might become part of a project that advocates for public art or teaches children to use technology to foster creative thinking.
Uranus in this reactive zone could make your emotions volatile at moments. You may need to practice taking deep breaths to avoid flying off the handle. Ego battles might be ahead—so make sure that you’re standing up for what you believe in, not just trying to be “right.”
Things settle down a little starting March 20, when the Sun shifts into Aries for a four-week visit to your domestic fourth house—this time, without Uranus raising a ruckus under your roof! Dial back your social schedule and plan to spend quality time at home. Reconnect with loved ones and catch up on self-care. Who says hibernation has to end at the spring equinox?!
But don’t get too cozy yet! March 20 also brings the first of two back-to-back full moons in Libra, which will activate your tenth house of career and ambition. This one is also a potent supermoon, the last of 2019’s trio, and it’s poised to launch you to the top of the charts. A big goal you’ve been working steadily toward for the past six months could come together triumphantly. Since full moons can mark endings and transitions, you might leave one job to pursue a loftier opportunity. An important man, possibly your father, may be part of today’s events.
No need to rush any major decisions though, Cap. On April 19, the second Libra full moon will help you move forward with clarity and confidence. Give yourself a month to hash out all the details. Another layer may be revealed in this story between now and then. Or you could receive an even more enticing offer than the one you’re considering. Your steadfast sign always does best when you take your time. Just don’t take TOO long—and keep the connection warm so they know you’re interested!
The excitement is further heightened on March 20 because fiery Mars will form a galvanizing trine with transformational Pluto in Capricorn and your assertive first house. Start selling tickets to the Capricorn Show: This magnetic mojo could give you a huge burst of star power, drawing attention from major influencers. Your inner performer could emerge in full rock-star regalia, making dressing-room demands (no blue M&Ms, please!). While your diva act could be a bit over-the-top, it will be entertaining—just watch out for any ego battles under this competitive combo. With lusty Mars in your passionate fifth house teamed up with sizzling Pluto, a bout of friskiness could strike hard. Clear your calendar (and the countertops) and prepare for a mind-blowing encounter.
LOVE & ROMANCE:
We hope you’re enjoying all the attention, Capricorn! Every two years, lusty Mars returns to your fifth house of passion and amour, and because it’s in earthily sensual Taurus, you’re sending out vibes you’re not even aware of! This phase, which coincidentally began on Valentine’s Day, is in effect until March 31, so if you’ve got a few wild oats left to sow—or someone to get more serious with—make haste! And with disruptor Uranus entering Taurus on March 6, you might catch an acute case of feisty spring fever. (Note the Uranus phase lasts for seven years, so you will have plenty of opportunities to shake things up.)
But with romantic Venus sailing through Aquarius and your stable second house from March 1 to 26, you might feel some friction as you’re pulled in opposing directions. Part of you is all fired up while another side is craving some semblance of security. Don’t point your fingers at “them,” however. If you’re not getting your needs met, look at how you might be sending out mixed messages, too.
When the cosmic lovebirds lock into a heated square on March 21, you could be torn between dueling desires for thrills and stability. Rather than do anything rash (hello, Mars!), take time to tune in to your deepest desires. It is possible to have excitement and commitment! The trick is finding a partner who shares your values and sense of (cautious) adventure.
A blast of relief comes when Venus enters Pisces and your communication sector on March 26, sweetly syncing up with the red planet—well, for a week! Enjoy that easy flow because Mars will march into Gemini on March 31 and make you a bit fussy and critical (and don’t give us that disingenuous “moi?!”). You know this side of yourself, so keep a watchful eye and do your best to be a good listener and responsive partner (or date). And in your moments of frustration, remind yourself that good things do come to those who wait!

Buckle your seat belt early in the day. Even if things have been smooth sailing, this rogue wave (courtesy of disruptor Uranus) might send you reeling. Suppressed feelings could erupt, but try to hold your tongue. This transit will pass, but if you lash out at someone, that damage might be irreparable.
MONEY & CAREER:
Your gift of gab is mightier than all this month, Capricorn! With the Sun in Pisces and your communication house until March 20, socializing is your ultimate strategy for getting ahead. Attend a networking event or schedule a catch-up with your favorite former client or colleague. Your focus on relationship building should also include honing your “online presence.” Does the way you present yourself to the world reflect your authentic personality?
With innovator Uranus entering Taurus and your self-expressive fifth house on March 6, it’s time to show MORE of that. Keeping it raw and real might not fit the polished and professional mold you cherish. But it’s time to throw away that old formula and rewrite the rules! (And please, NOT with a preformatted template.)
With in-your-face Mars also in Taurus until March 31, you could be well on your way to grabbing people’s attention. One caveat: Thoroughly review any content before you post or publish as communication planet Mercury is retrograde in Pisces from March 5 to 28, increasing your chances of being misunderstood. You’ve got seven years to unleash Capricorn 2.0 on the world, so think of this month as a soft launch.
To round out the month, the full supermoon in Libra on March 20 ignites your tenth house of career. The icing on the proverbial cake? This is the first of a rare double-header of Libra full moons, with the second arriving April 19. You’ve got a full month—and two golden opportunities—to scope out your options or make a major power move. Mark your calendar with a reminder to keep your ears and eyes open around these two dates. And be prepared to negotiate like a boss!

People will be talking a good game today, but it’s up to you to cut through the BS and figure out how much (if any) is legit. You’d love to believe their narrative, but you’re too savvy for that. Read between the lines, observe people’s body language, and definitely pay attention to your gut feelings. If they can’t provide clear, straight answers to your questions, give ’em a pass.
