Per Billboard, the photograph was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who have also worked with Oprah Winfrey, Rihanna, and Angelina Jolie. This little teaser only got fans more excited for the song: “Can Friday hurry TF up!!!,” one person tweeted.
Lopez also sent out an invite to fans to her Thanksgiving dance party on Instagram Live.
“Join me for a virtual Thanksgiving dance party ON Instagram Live TONIGHT at 11:45 pm EST! We’re celebrating the world premiere of #InTheMorning. There will be surprise #TurkeyEggs! Bring the whole fam!,” she wrote.
This dance party was also the world premiere of the new song.

The lyrics are, in part: “If you love me / Say it in the morning / Not just in the evening / Only when you want my body / Want my body Sweet little white lies / Your sweet little white lies / Leave a bad taste in my mouth / Your taste in my mouth (Come on) / Queen in the night time / Black dress with white wine / Mess it up, watch it fall down / When you watch it fall down.”
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: J.Lo is one of the reasons that 2020 isn’t all bad. She’s been showing up on Instagram to brighten our spirits and let us know that music, dancing, and joy still exist. In March, she shared with ELLE.com what it feels like to be at the height of her career during this time in her life.
“I’ll tell you what I wish I’d known about being 50 when I was younger: It’s not over,” she said. “When I was in my 20s, I don’t know what I thought about being 50 except that it was basically just the end. I didn’t think I’d be in the best shape of my life. I didn’t think I’d be able to say that in a way, my career is taking off, even though I’ve been going for a long time, you know? I have so much experience now. I have the knowledge that, if I use it, is a huge advantage. The narrative women are told is that you’re kind of put out to pasture at a certain age. And what I’ve found is that it’s the total opposite. If you keep working hard and pushing yourself, you can be better as a person physically, mentally, emotionally. Stop asking, ‘Will I look like that?’ and just ask, ‘What do I want to do next?’ Because you can make it happen, you know? And nobody ever told me that.”
