Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have quietly welcomed their fourth child, a baby boy, via surrogate. The couple, who chose to keep details of their pregnancy largely private, have announced the news on Kardashian’s Twitter. She even included some details on what he looks like.
Kardashian initially confirmed that she and West were expecting another child in January. She was on Watch What Happens Live with her sisters Kourtney and Khloé when she told Andy Cohen that she and West were expecting a baby boy.
“We are [working on another child],” Kardashian told the host when asked about it. “We do [have a due date]. It’s sometime soon. We do [know if it’s a boy or girl]. It’s a boy. I think every—”
Her sisters had been surprised that she so casually revealed the gender. “I can’t believe you’re telling everyone!” Kourtney Kardashian told her.
“Well, it’s out there,” Kardashian replied. “I mean…”
“But you haven’t confirmed it,” Cohen said.
“Well, I know,” Kardashian said. “But I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party, and I told some people, and I can’t remember who I told ‘cause I never get drunk and…”
Kardashian and West welcomed their third baby, daughter Chicago, last January. Chicago was also born via surrogate. Kardashian hinted to ELLE in its April issue last year that she and West were thinking about having one more kid after Chicago.
Any more than four kids, she couldn’t do, she said. “I don’t think I could handle more than that,” she explained. “My time is spread really thin. And I think it’s important that in all couples, the mom gives the husband as much attention as the kids.”
