Love is not always lost forever. Megan Fox and her husband of nine years, Brian Austin Green, are officially not getting a divorce. Fox, who married Green in June 2010, when she was 24, filed papers at a Los Angeles court Thursday to dismiss their divorce proceedings, per E! News.
The couple, who fell in love on the set of ABC’s Hope and Faith, has had a rocky relationship over the years. They separated and filed for divorce in 2015, citing irreconcilable differences. But a year later, their third son, Journey was born, signaling that Fox and Green had reconciled.
During a September 2018 episode of his podcast, …with Brian Austin Green, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star remarked on the challenges of marriage, per People.
“Marriage is hard,” he said. “It’s work, I think for anyone. I think when you get to the point like we have, where you have kids and you’ve been married for a while and we’ve been together for a long time, it’s—you just take it day by day.” He went on: “Some people look at divorce or things not working as, like, a disappointment and it’s not. The fact that it worked at all is a positive,” he added. “We have three amazing kids. We’ve had and we have a great relationship. We’re just taking it day by day.”
During an episode of Hollywood Medium, the show’s star Tyler Henry gave Fox a reading that she directly connected to her marriage.
“What I took away from that was this is a time for me to really focus on healing myself emotionally and not unlike my mom, connecting to myself,” she said, per People. “Prioritizing my kids and making sure they’re okay, and at some point in the future, love will be revealed.”
