Miley Cyrus is coming back with a new album. The singer has been teasing the date May 31 over social media, which many fans assumed was the release date for a new single, but now the world can expect a full album in just a matter of days. Over Twitter on Monday, Cyrus released the cover for her album, She is Coming with a link for fans to pre-save on Spotify and Apple Music.
According to Pop Crave, the album will feature collaborations with RuPaul, Swae Lee, and Ghostface Killah.
Cyrus has been busy promoting her new music, surprising fans at Radio 1’s Big Weekend on Saturday with three new songs: “Mother’s Daughter,” Cattitude,” and “Dream.” While posting photos from the show on Instagram, Cyrus used lyrics from “Cattitude” as captions, including “I love you Nicki, but I listen to Cardi,” “I love you Miley, but I listen to Hannah,” and “I love you Selena, but I listen to Demi,” even tagging her fellow former Disney stars.
Cyrus is also getting back in the acting game, starring in an episode of Black Mirror, which is set to air June 5. Cyrus spoke about the episode with BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat.
“This is the story of females in the music industry,” she said. “I understand everyone’s gone through this but I do think for females in the industry… it’s hard to be taken seriously. People assume that if you’re not wearing a bodysuit and singing pop music, why would anyone want to see you?”
She Is Coming will be the first Miley Cyrus album since her 2017 release Younger Now.
