Everyone SIT DOWN. News is happening. Shawn Mendes has finally confirmed that he is in a relationship with Camila Cabello. Yes. After months of sexy singing and P.D.A., it’s official. Mendes confirmed his new love with fans during a concert in Uncasville, Connecticut on Friday after a fan asked him via a video on Twitter: “You’ve said you’ve never been in love. Has that changed recently?”

“Honestly, I wanna say I wanna talk to you guys about this stuff, but it’s not just me in the relationship,” he answered. “here’s another person involved and I can’t say things that I feel. It’s not just me deciding you know?”

Rumors of Mendes’s relationship with Cabello started after the release of their sultry single together, “Señorita,” which was then accompanied by an even sultrier music video. They’ve spent the summer out and about together, not appearing to care who sees (or photographs them) holding hands and kissing.

Cabello recently teased possible new music, which many have assumed to be inspired by her (now official) boyfriend. On Saturday she released three video clips to her Instagram, musing about love.

“I know when you fall in love, you feel like you’re the first and only two people in the world,” she said. “Every kiss, every touch, every caress is like something you feel nobody has ever felt before. And you think, has everybody that’s ever fallen in love before just walked around this nonchalantly the whole time?”

For their part, Cabello and Mendes don’t appear to be so nonchalant.
