Spring is the time to get your feet out, add some toenail polish, and finally wear sandals. Too often, we spend all winter hoping for this moment and then pull out the same old, disgusting flip flops that we have worn for years.
Don’t do that! Instead, get yourself some new sandals that will encourage you to put your best foot forward every day.
Espadrilles
Always a classic style, espadrilles that are well made and high quality will always allow you to wear a wedge (you can get them in almost any height) but still feel secure. Even better, these are one of the only sandals that you can cover up your toes if you haven’t been to the nail salon in a little while.
These are best in classic colors, but you can also get some pretty great designs if you are more daring.
Heeled Sandals
Some people will turn their noses up at sandals because they are flat and don’t really do too much for your legs. However, heeled sandals can be a great investment because they do everything that heels do, but they tend to be a little more comfortable.
If you are going to be walking on grass, make sure to get a heeled sandal with some heft to the heel so you aren’t just sinking into the ground.
Comfortable Through and Through
Sometimes, whether you are just going to do your laundry or grocery shop or you just want to take a break from the heels, you want to be comfortable. There are plenty of great, comfortable shoes that you can wear without resorting to flip flops.
There is something so great about just wearing comfortable shoes that you can always rely on to be comfortable – especially when they mold to your feet over time.
Comfortable Yet Fashionable: Slides
Slides increase and decrease in popularity every so often. If you aren’t shopping for them, you might think it looks like you are ready to go play a sport or take a college final – but fear not, there are some great ones out there.
Make sure to get something that doesn’t look like you are going to the shower: slides with feminine details and quality construction exist.
How will you put your best foot forward this spring and summer?
